Measles cases are rising in London

Please make sure your child is up to date with their vaccinations and book an appointment at the surgery to catch up on missed doses. Two doses of the MMR vaccine can provide lifelong protection against measles.

Measles is more than just a rash. 1 in 5 children with measles will need hospital treatment. It can cause serious complications and in rare cases can be fatal.

If you are unsure if you or your child are up to date with your vaccinations, please contact the practice.

Dawid is responsible for arranging letters and referrals and plays a key role in the Electronic Referrals System (eRS). Dawid receives many requests to chase up pending appointments at the local hospital. Please note, this is not his role and there is a dedicated Central Booking Service at our local hospital, St George’s, who should be contacted in the first instance (the Central Booking Service can be contacted on 020 8725 0007). If there are difficulties with this, you may consider using the Patient Advice and Liaison Service, who can be contacted on 020 8725 2453.

The reception team

Our receptionists are here to help you. They are trained to do a difficult job well.

The reception team are tasked with booking you with the most appropriate team member at the appropriate time, so please try to give them the information they request. They have been asked to do this by the clinical team and are bound by the same rules of confidentiality as doctors and nurses.
