NHS: Young COVID

People aged 20-24 currently have the highest COVID infection rate in England and many of those individuals are unvaccinated, so are more likely to be hospitalised or even die from the virus, compared to those who are vaccinated. Long COVID is a particular concern for this age group, with symptoms ranging from fatigue and dizziness to memory problems and joint pain.

Whether you are young or old, COVID does not discriminate and you can still catch the virus. Getting vaccinated, however, dramatically reduces your chances of suffering severely from it. Now, more than ever, we need to protect ourselves as we brace for the winter months, so please do your bit and get vaccinated.
