Please make sure your child is up to date with their vaccinations and book an appointment at the surgery to catch up on missed doses. Two doses of the MMR vaccine can provide lifelong protection against measles.
Measles is more than just a rash. 1 in 5 children with measles will need hospital treatment. It can cause serious complications and in rare cases can be fatal.

Dr Amy Wildgoose and one of our Healthcare Assistants will be at the Al-Muzzammil Masjid & Community Centre (Gatton Road Mosque, 8 Gatton Road, London SW17 0ES) on Saturday 11th March from 09:00. We realise that there is a lot of undiagnosed hypertension in the community and they will be working with some health coaches who will be able to take a blood pressure reading and also offer health and lifestyle advice.
