Disability charity Share Community is pleased to announce a series of events as part of an NHS-funded initiative to address health inequalities through welfare benefits support. The project is designed to empower people with learning disabilities and autism with the knowledge and resources necessary to navigate the welfare system effectively, thereby improving their health outcomes. Share’s dedicated wellbeing team will be on hand to:

  • Work closely with healthcare professionals to identify people with disabilities who may benefit from additional welfare support;
  • Collaborate with local organisations to create a network of support for people with disabilities and autism who are navigating the complexities of welfare benefits;
  • Offer personalised support in understanding and accessing welfare benefits;
  • Provide information and guidance on how to utilise these benefits effectively for better health outcomes.

To register, please email wellbeing@sharecommunity.org.uk indicating which date you’ll be attending.

Please see the Welfare Benefits Event poster for more information.
